Dr. Bai Yulei, a young teacher from the Institute of Road and Bridge Engineering, participated in the 6th National Young Teachers' Competition on Concrete Structure Teaching and won the second prize for the compulsory basic course "Principles of Concrete Structures" in civil engineering. The competition was sponsored by the Education Working Committee of China Civil Engineering Society and the Steering Committee of Civil Engineering Disciplines in National Universities of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and co-sponsored by the College of Civil Engineering of Huaqiao University. 59 young teachers from 38 universities across China, including Tongji University, Zhejiang University and Beijing University of Technology, participated in the competition. There were 6 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 24 third prizes in the competition.

In recent years, the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering (FACTE) of BJUT has comprehensively implemented the spirit of the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in Higher Education in the New Era, followed the undergraduate-education-oriented approach, and promoted the "four returns (return to common sense, return to the real role, return to the original aspiration and return to the dream)". FACTE has provided a stage for teachers to showcase their spirit, improve their teaching experience and promote teaching exchanges with the objectives of promoting professors teaching from the podium, advancing intelligent education, strengthening learning community and guiding classified development.
