Personal statement

Zhang Jian，Professor and Ph.D. supervisor，is the Deputy Director of Faculty of Urban Construction, BJUT; Dean of College of Architecture & urban Planning and the Institute of Architecture Exploration and Design, BJUT. She presided over and participated in 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, presided over 2 projects of the Science and Technology Plan of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, presided over and participated in 3 projects of the Science and Technology Plan of the Beijing Education Commission, and presided over several horizontal scientific research projects and published more than 30 academic papers. In recent years, she has devoted herself to the study of urban renewal, urban governance and regulation. In view of the large number of urban problems caused by high urbanization in the process of urban development, based on the analysis of planning evaluation, she has proposed solutions on urban problems that affect or even hinder urban development.
