Personal Statement

Prof. Chao Wang is the deputy director of the college of transportation engineering in Beijing University of Technology. He teaches several undergraduate courses such as "Pavement Engineering Materials", "Subgrade and Pavement Design" and "Inspection of Highway Engineering". The research topic in his group is mainly focused on the performance modeling of asphalt pavement especially for fatigue and healing behaviors of cross-scale asphalt materials. He has published more than 40 peer-review papers and conference proceedings. The students who are interested in the asphalt material science and pavement-environment study are welcome to join the group.
