Personal Statement

Liu Jiaping, professor, doctoral supervisor and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is a well-known expert in the field of green building, building thermal engineering and building energy efficiency, and is also one of the outstanding scientists in this field in China. He is the academic leader of the first national innovation research group "Research on Western Building Environment and Energy Consumption Control" in China's architecture discipline and the first national outstanding young science fund winner in China's architectural physics discipline. He presided over and completed 16 national-level projects including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, major international cooperation projects, and national 863 program projects. He won prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, and international academic 1 award. Published more than 500 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, published 8 monographs and edited books, presided over and participated in the compilation of 6 national and local design standards. He has educated 6 postdoctoral fellows, 31 graduated doctors, and 79 masters. He has made outstanding contributions to the theoretical research and engineering practice of low-energy buildings.
