Personal Statement

Jianwei Zhang, professor and doctoral supervisor, is the deputy director of the department for urban construction of Beijing University of Technology. He has been engaged in teaching for 29 years.

He has presided one National Key Research Program, three National Natural Science Foundation of China Projects, and one sub-topics of National Science and Technology Support Program.

He got the second prize for the Awards of National Advancement of Science and Technology in 2009; the first prize for the Awards of Science and Technology in Beijing City in 2005; the two first prizes for the Awards of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China in 2014 and 2015, respectively; the two second prizes for the Awards of Science and Technology in Beijing City in 2013 and 2014, respectively; and the second prize for the Awards of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China in 2017.

He published more than twenty SCI papers on international major journals, and obtained more than thirty national invention patents in China. He participated in the preparation of one National Industry Standards named "Recycled Concrete Structure Technical Standards", one China Construction Engineering Standardization Association Standards, and two Beijing Local Standards.
