Personal Statement

Mi Zhao, professor and doctoral supervisor, Vice Director of Key Laboratory of Earthquake Engineering and Structural Retrofit of Beijing, and Director of the Institute of Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering. His Doctoral Dissertation is awarded as the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of China in 2011 by Chinese Ministry of Education. He has been supported by the Ministry of Education Innovation Team of China, by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Outstanding Young Scholar and by the Beijing Nova program. He has presided one project of National 973 Program and the General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 100 papers in English and Chinese. He has been awarded two 2nd Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards and two 1st Class Science and Technology Progress Awards of Ministry of Education.
