Personal Statement

Dr. Zilan Zhong is an associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China. He received his Bachelor’s degree (2009) in civil engineering from Tongji University, and Master’s (2012) and Ph.D. degrees (2015) from State University of New York at Buffalo in the United States.

Zhao Zhifeng, professor, PhD supervisor, Director of Urban Planning, College of Architecture and Urban planning, Beijing University of technology (BJUT). She has implemented 2 projects from National Natural Science Foundation, more than 10 projects involving the provincial departmental level topics such as Social Science Fund of Beijing, Beijing Natural Science Foundation of Key projects, as well as the construction and planning of engineering practice of more than 30 projects. She was awarded the National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design, and Beijing Outstanding Rural Design Awards. As the main author, she participated in the compilation of 4 national and industrial technical standards, norms and manuals, including the standard of rural planning, etc., and published several monographs, and over 70 papers.
