Personal statement

Gong Qiuming, professor and doctoral supervisor, is the leader of the TBM tunneling program of Beijing University of Technology. He was granted Ph.D. in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2006. Then, He joined in Beijing University of Technology (BJUT). He has presided more than 20 research projects funded by Chinese government and companies. He also participated in consulting many large engineering projects, including Beijing MRT, Chengdu MRT, Jinping II hydropower station and so on. He has published more than 30 papers on international journals and conferences, more than 50 papers in Chinese journals and conferences and one academic book. The SCI citation times have exceeded 1400 times. His H-index is 18.
