Personal statement

Liu Xuechun, professor and doctoral supervisor, is the Executive Deputy Director of Beijing Engineering Research Centre of High-rise and Large-span Prestressed Steel Structures. He focuses on the study of large span steel structure, especially large-span prestressed steel structure. He also focuses on the study of assembled steel structure, the column-to-beam connection and column-to-column connection. He has been engaged in structural design, research, teaching since 1997. He has presided one National Science and Technology Support Program and two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, and many application study for companies. Many technologies are applied in engineering structures. He has published more than 100 papers in journals, more than 30 papers are indexed by SCI/EI.
