Personal Statement

Hong-Yuan Huo, Associate Professor, and master supervisor, is engaged in thermal infrared remote sensing and its applications for more than ten years, and now he is doing the research over 3D urban heat island simulation based on CFD and TIR remote sensing, and Target detection based on multi-source remote sensing data. He has presided one National Natural Science Foundation of China project and one project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has published more than forty papers on international major journals and one academic book.

Students with professional knowledge or backgrounds in remote sensing, geographic information systems, geography, surveying and mapping science and technology, signal and information processing, computer image processing, BIM, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). are welcome to apply for his master's degree.
