Personal Statement

Zhang currently is the director of water resources and water engineering institute . Zhang has been the Party committee secretary of the Architecture and Civil Engineering College at Beijing University of Technology. Zhang has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of geological engineering, environmental engineering, water conservancy engineering and municipal engineering. Zhang taught the course include hydraulics, water treatment engineering, drainage engineering, water resources planning and management, watershed hydrological model, water quality model and simulation, etc. The research direction is simulation theory and technology of water resources and pollution control . By using hydrodynamics, hydrochemistry, microbiology, numerical method and computer technology, the process of water flow and solute transport, water pollution control mechanism are modeled and quantified to realize process reproduction and process prediction.
