Personal statement

Dr. Xiaojing Zhang is a lecturer at Beijing University of Technology. She received her Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016. She studied at International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy at Technical University of Denmark for 20 months as a joint-educated Ph. D. student. Her current research interests focus on the effects of indoor air quality on sleep quality, design parameters of thermal indoor environment in hot and humid climate, and meteorological parameters for building energy-efficiency design. She has presided six projects with a total of over 1,000,000 RMB grants, including one National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth program), one sub-project of the 13th Five-Year "Green Building and Building Industrialization" key R & D program, and one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (Major Award). She has published more than 40 academic papers, which include one ESI highly cited paper.
