Introduction

Institute of Intelligent Construction and Engineering Management, is formerly known as Institute of Engineering Construction and Management, College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, has 14 full-time teachers and 4 part-time teachers. Among them, there are 1 high-level talents introduced into Beijing municipal colleges and universities, 1 Beijing Scholar, 2 full professors, 1 professor-level senior engineer, 5 associate professors and 8 lecturers. The subject educates senior technical and management talents in intelligent construction, engineering construction and management. Each teacher recruits more than 20 doctoral/master degree students and more than 30 undergraduate students.

Intelligent construction, engineering construction and management are the priority subjects of Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering. With the care and support of leaders of the institute, all teachers work together and overcome difficulties. They have made great scientific research achievements in the fields of intelligent construction and digital twin technology, construction scheme optimization and monitoring of large complex engineering, design theory of steel structure and construction technology of complex structure, modern civil engineering survey technology, engineering project management and optimization, building information modeling and visualization, etc.

Research Achievements

With the aim at talent training and serving the society, the institute pays close attention to the development of science and technology in related fields at home and abroad, and actively participates in relevant scientific research. Until now, the teachers of the institute have undertaken more than 10 projects of International Nature Science Foundation, provincial and ministerial research fund and major special sub projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology. They have published more than 200 papers and several monographs, and won more than 10 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards and more than 30 national invention patents have been authorized.
